The Ballarat & District Soccer Association and Sports Central are excited to announce that we have partnered to deliver a primary school-based soccer program exclusively for girls – Mini Matildas!

Sports Central is proud to be working alongside Regional Sport Victoria, Vicsport and Volunteering Victoria to deliver the Sport Volunteering Program which will build the capacity and confidence of sporting clubs through a series of four online workshops to deliver great volunteer programs.

Sports Central is excited to announce that we have partnered with Learmonth Football Netball Club, Waubra Football Netball Club, Central Highlands Football League and Tackle Your Feelings to conduct the 2023 Tackle Your Feelings Cup.

To assist community organisations including sporting clubs and associations, Ballarat East Neighbourhood House are offering two workshops to introduce the updated Victorian Child Safe Standards, including an overview of the standards and some practical steps that can be taken to implement them.

Women’s Health Grampians would like to invite you to a Change Makers Dinner to be held in Ararat on Monday 22 May. The Change Makers Dinner is focused on Leading Change within the sporting community and how sporting clubs and associations can take meaningful actions to eradicate violence against women and their children from our community.

On Tuesday14th March, Sports Central was thrilled to support Disability Sports Australia and other key partners in delivering the Activate Inclusion Sports Day, at Selkirk Stadium, Wendouree.

Sports Central is hosting Responsible Service of Alcohol Training for members of all community sporting clubs and leagues on Monday 27th March. The training is delivered by Ballarat Group Training and tailored to give participants confidence in serving behind the bar within a sporting club setting.

Power2Pedal is back in 2023! Power2Pedal a 5-week bike riding program for children aged 5 – 12 with autism. The program will offer participants the opportunity to learn to ride a bike in an inclusive and supportive environment.
