Alcohol and Vaping in Community Sport Workshop
The City of Ballarat and the Alcohol & Drug Foundation are hosting a free Alcohol and Vaping in Community Sport Workshop for coaches and club volunteers on Tuesday 25th March in Ballarat. This workshop will cover three key topics, including the opportunity for participants to earn a nationally accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

Regional Racquet Sport Roadshow
Sports Central is excited to deliver a Governance Workshop as part of the Regional Racquet Sport Roadshow in Ballarat on Saturday 15th March. This fully subsidised workshop is open to all sporting clubs and associations and will provide valuable insights and practical strategies for strengthening governance.

Equal the Contest Workshops
Sports Central, in partnership with the Victorian Government, Sports Focus and Mt Alexander Falcons Women’s Sports Club, is offering two free Equal the Contest Workshops for clubs in the Central Highlands. Following the success of the groundbreaking documentary Equal the Contest, a new workshop has been developed as a pilot program for community sports clubs.

Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund
The Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund provides funding up to $40,000 for developing quality facilities that encourage a welcoming environment for all participants, officials, volunteers and spectators. Clubs, associations, schools, councils and cricket facility managers are welcome to apply, acknowledging the important role that these partners play in providing facilities for community cricket across Australia.
Dylan Alcott Foundation Grants
Dylan Alcott Foundation grants are available year-round, helping young Australians living with a disability overcome barriers of entry to sport, gain confidence and achieve their dreams. If you’re 26 years old or younger, live with a disability, and are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible to apply for a grant to help achieve your sporting goals!
Emergency Sporting Equipment Grant Program
The Emergency Sporting Equipment Grant Program provides funding of up to $1,000 for community sport and active recreation organisations across Victoria to replace or repair essential sport or first aid equipment that has been lost or destroyed because of unpreventable incidents.
