Delivered by Sports Central, this workforce sustainability program strengthens off-field leadership, committees and volunteer structures.

Two outstanding organisations, the Ballarat Bulldogs Football Netball Club and Special Olympics Ballarat, are seeking dedicated volunteers to continue their vital work in our community.

Ballarat District Golf recently conducted the 2023 MyGolf Junior league competition. Held over a five-week period in conjunction with the local Junior Pennant season, the competition catered for a minimum of 60 boys and girls each week, with a total 79 players participating over the course of the season.

For this winter, Regional Sport Victoria has introduced the Stride into Sport campaign, aiming to boost club registrations. This campaign will actively promote sporting opportunities available over the winter and highlight how the barriers to sport can be overcome.

On Tuesday14th March, Sports Central was thrilled to support Disability Sports Australia and other key partners in delivering the Activate Inclusion Sports Day, at Selkirk Stadium, Wendouree.
