Sports Central is hosting Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Training for members of all community sporting clubs and leagues.
The training is delivered by Ballarat Group Training and tailored to give participants confidence in serving behind the bar within a sporting club setting.
RSA training covers:
- Legal requirements relating to the sale and service of alcohol
- Excessive consumption of alcohol and duty of care
- Monitoring of patron intoxication levels and management of difficult customers
- Alcohol consumption and Australian standard drink facts
RSA training is mandatory for licensees and staff offering or serving liquor for general, on-premises, late-night and packaged liquor licences.
Upon completion, participants receive an industry recognised RSA certificate.
