The Moorabool Shire Community Grants Program will open on Sunday 1st March, offering funds to support local groups and organisations in the delivery of community projects and events.
Applications from individuals, community groups and organisations are encouraged to apply under the following grant categories:
- Community Strengthening – Community programs, activities or initiatives, capital improvements and small projects
- Community Events – Events that showcase local talent, provide public entertainment, foster community participation, connectedness and diversity
- Sustainability and Environmental Engagement – Support for community groups in reducing expenditure on gas and electricity and providing opportunities to raise awareness of environmental issues to the broader community in different ways
- Community Development Fund – Support for community infrastructure projects that have significant impact on community development, liveability and wellbeing throughout the Shire
Applicants are required to speak to a Community and Recreation Development Officer prior to making an application.
Applications close on Tuesday 31st March.
