About the Grants

Active Club Grants
VicHealth is inviting community sporting clubs to apply for an Active Club Grant to increase opportunities for more Victorians to be active.  Three out of five women are not getting enough physical activity to benefit their health and many people, particularly people who are less physically active are interested in more fun, flexible and social sport activities.

VicHealth needs your help to encourage more Victorians to participate in sport through two specific focus areas:

  • Increasing female participation opportunities
  • Supporting social and modified sport programs for less active Victorians

Sporting Club Grants
Funded by the Victoria State Government, the Sporting Club Grants Program provides grants to assist in the purchase of sports uniforms and equipment, to improve the capacity and accessibility of Victorian clubs and other community sport and recreation organisations and increase the skills of their coaches, officials and managers.

Funding categories include:

  • Uniforms or equipment
  • Skill Development
  • Club Operational Capacity
  • Aboriginal Participation
