Are you interested in learning about your health, getting active with a range of fun workouts, making new friends and being involved in your local community? Then Daughters of the West is for you!
Facilitated by the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation in partnership with the City of Ballarat and Sports Central, Daughters of the West is a free ten-week health program commencing on Wednesday 14th July.
The program runs for ten weeks, with each session lasting for two hours. In the first hour you will have the chance to hear from different experts on a range of health topics. After that we’ll get into physical activity. Most sessions have three levels of intensity to choose from each week:
Daughters of the West is open to women aged 18 and over who live in the Central Highlands region.

The Victorian Government’s Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open, offering up to $200 per child to help eligible Victorian families cover the costs of organised sport and active recreation activities. Designed to reduce financial barriers and encourage children and young people to get involved, the program supports both those returning to sport and those trying something new.
The Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program is now open, offering funding to help community sport and active recreation organisations grow and thrive. With grants available across five categories, the program supports grassroots clubs to reduce participation barriers, strengthen skills, and build active, connected local communities.
