Sporting clubs, schools and community organisations across the Central Highlands can now access free support to create more welcoming and inclusive environments through the Sport4All Program.

Based at Sports Central, Heidi Biggin is the Sport4All Inclusion Coach for the Central Highlands Region. Employed by Leisure Networks, Heidi works with organisations to improve accessibility, build disability awareness and develop practical strategies that make participation easier for everyone.

The program is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Sports Commission and was co-designed by people with disability through Get Skilled Access, founded by disability advocate and former Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott.

Organisations can begin by completing a simple 15-minute Inclusion Check-In Survey, which provides a snapshot of their current level of inclusion. From there, Heidi can help develop a tailored Inclusion Action Plan and deliver education sessions, inclusion workshops, Come and Try events, and practical resources to support lasting change.

Drawing on her own lived experience as a person who is legally blind, Heidi combines professional expertise with practical insights to help organisation build confidence and create positive, inclusive sporting environments.

If your organisation is ready to become more inclusive, complete the Sport4All Inclusion Check-In Survey and Heidi will work with you to develop a plan that suits your club’s needs.
