This Girl Can – Victoria; celebrates and supports Victorian women and girls to embrace physical activity in a way that suits them. Whether it’s a little or a lot, what matters is getting some movement into the day. This year This Girl Can Week: 10 to 17 November 2024 is locked in.

We invite all Sport and Active Recreation organisations to showcase free or low-cost activities, workshops, education sessions or events for women and girls to participate in. We are gathering information involving all activities and events that will be available to promote and share with the broader community in our region.

Vaping is a growing health concern, especially among young people, and community sporting clubs have an important role to play in addressing it. To help local clubs tackle this urgent issue, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, in partnership with VicHealth and local councils across Victoria, has created a free, on-demand vaping webinar tailored specifically for club officials and coaches.
Join the Alcohol and Drug Foundation’s Good Sports Team for a free online alcohol management workshop, delivered in partnership with Golden Plains Shire Council. Golden Plains Shire clubs play a vital role in supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of their players, members and the local community.
