Come and join a fun, inclusive golf program, designed specifically for people with an intellectual disability and/or autism. It’s a fantastic way to learn new skills, stay active, build confidence and make new friends, all in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The program is led by Andrew Cartledge, PGA of Australia Professional and founder of the Ballarat Junior Golf Academy. An award-winning coach, Andrew is passionate about helping players develop both golf and life skills.
Who can join?
The program is open to anyone aged 8 and over with an intellectual disability and/or autism. While designed for Special Olympics Ballarat athletes, new participants are welcome to attend up to three sessions before registering.

Dates: Sunday 14th September, Sunday 21st September, Sunday 28th September, Sunday 5th October, Sunday 12th October, Sunday 2nd November, Sunday 9th November, Sunday 16th November, Sunday 23rd November, Sunday 30th November
Time: 3:00pm
Cost: $10 per session – Payable on the day

Get ready for a day of fun, movement and new experiences! Disability Sports Australia invites children living with disabilities to a free Variety Abilities Unleashed Kids event, a multi-sport “come and try” day at Selkirk Stadium on Tuesday 21st October from 10:00am. Participants will enjoy a range of adaptive sports and activities in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
The Victorian Government’s Regional All Abilities Participation Grants support clubs and community organisations to enable ongoing, sustainable and meaningful participation for people with disability in regional Victoria. Our team is here to assist with applications, support project development and explore potential partnerships.
