Power2Pedal is back in 2023! Power2Pedal is a 5-week bike riding program for children aged 5 – 12 with autism. The program will offer participants the opportunity to learn to ride a bike in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Power2Pedal has been specifically designed to get more kids and teens with autism riding bikes and including active transport into their lifestyle.
Power2Pedal is an after school program, with sessions running for 45 minutes at the Victoria Park in Ballarat, with all facilitators trained by Cycling Australia.
This program is a partnership between Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club, Leisure Networks, VicHealth, City of Ballarat, Sports Central, Reclink Australia and Solve Disability Solutions.

Time: 4.00pm – 4.45pm & 5.00pm – 5:45pm (2 session options)

The Australian Sports Commission is working with researchers from Federation University to understand the cost to deliver and play community sport. The research includes two surveys, one for local community sports clubs and the other aimed at participants engaged in club sport.
It is Cyber Security Awareness Month, and clubs and athletes are invited to take advantage of online training opportunities. A free eLearning course on cyber safety and security tailored for the sports community is also now available. Access valuable advice on recognising and addressing online abuse, along with guidance on how to report such incidents effectively.
