Looking to get active and learn more about your health? The Daughters of the West Program is for you!
The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s Daughters of the West program is back in person and better than ever for 2022! Registrations for Ballarat (and surrounding areas) women are now open!
This FREE program, led by Sports Central, aims to provide women of all ages with a supportive environment to learn more about their health, take control of their wellbeing, connect with new and old friends, and try different activities.
The 10-week program consists of weekly 2-hour sessions, involving:
– a health educational component featuring guest speakers who cover a range of topics from nutrition to gender equity
– physical activity sessions run by local health experts, designed to suit your fitness levels and abilities.
Due to popularity, sessions will be held at two venues:
Venue: Selkirk Stadium
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Day: Wednesday

The Victorian Government’s Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open, offering up to $200 per child to help eligible Victorian families cover the costs of organised sport and active recreation activities. Designed to reduce financial barriers and encourage children and young people to get involved, the program supports both those returning to sport and those trying something new.
The Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program is now open, offering funding to help community sport and active recreation organisations grow and thrive. With grants available across five categories, the program supports grassroots clubs to reduce participation barriers, strengthen skills, and build active, connected local communities.
