A Night of Inspiration: Coaches and Leaders Circle Launch Event a Resounding Success
Sports Central was proud to officially launch the Coaches and Leaders Circle, bringing together an incredible line-up of speakers, coaches, leaders, and community members for an evening of inspiration, connection, and celebration.
The event featured an engaging keynote from Australian netball legend Sharelle McMahon, who shared her journey from local sport to international success, highlighting the lessons, challenges, and triumphs that shaped her career. Her authenticity and passion for developing the next generation of leaders set the tone for the night.
Attendees were then treated to an inspiring panel discussion with a diverse group of local leaders, each sharing their unique experiences, leadership philosophies, and advice for aspiring coaches and leaders. The conversation covered the importance of resilience, building inclusive environments, and finding your voice in leadership – sparking plenty of thought-provoking moments and nods of agreement from the audience.
As part of the evening, Sports Central also facilitated a consultation session to gather valuable feedback from participants on what the Coaches and Leaders Circle program design should look like. This input will play a key role in shaping future activities, ensuring the program reflects the needs and aspirations of the local coaching and leadership community.
Following the formalities, guests enjoyed the opportunity to connect during a networking session, where conversations flowed, new relationships were formed, and ideas for future collaborations began to take shape.
The Coaches and Leaders Circle is set to be an ongoing platform dedicated to empowering, connecting, and equipping women coaches and leaders across the Central Highlands. Judging by the energy and enthusiasm at the launch, the program is already well on its way to making a lasting impact.
