The Ballarat Sports Foundation’s scholarship applications are now open online for Ballarat’s up and coming sportspeople who have demonstrated potential to achieve and further develop in their chosen sport.
Ballarat Sports Foundation:
- are a community-based project aiming to encourage and support local sports people who have demonstrated potential to achieve and further develop in their chosen sport
- look to foster the spirit of community pride and success through encouragement of Ballarat sportspersons to pursue sporting excellence
- provide a focal point to coordinate community sponsorship and donors
Ballarat Sports Foundation Chair, Peter Blackburn said: “This next round of scholarships will continue to encourage and provide financial support to our local athletes, as they continue their sporting journey to achieve their goals on a national and international stage.”
