
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training provides participants with the awareness and knowledge to serve alcohol responsibly.
Sports Central offer local sporting clubs the opportunity to host RSA training for their members. The training is delivered by Ballarat Group Training and tailored to give participants confidence in serving behind the bar within a sporting club setting.
RSA training covers:
RSA training is mandatory for licensees and staff offering or serving liquor for general, on-premises, late-night and packaged liquor licences.
RSA training takes up to four hours to complete, and each course can cater for up to 25 participants. The training can be hosted in-person or online via interactive video technology.
Upon completion, participants receive an industry recognised RSA certificate.

The Country Football and Netball Program is delivered in partnership with the AFL, AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria. It provides funding to Local Government Authorities to help regional football and netball clubs, associations and umpiring organisations upgrade and develop facilities in rural, regional and outer metropolitan locations.
The Australian Sports Commission’s Local Para Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-24 participating in state, national or international championships for athletes with a disability. Successful applicants will receive $750-$1000 towards the cost of attending their championships.
