The Woady Yaloak Football Netball Club are excited to be expanding into the cricket space in 2021. The newly established club has had much success with junior football and netball programs in recent years and hopes that things will be the same for their new Woady Warriors Cricket Blast program.
Woady Warriors Cricket Blast is a cricket program for children aged 5 – 12. Cricket Blast teaches children the skills of the game through fun activities and modified matches.
The 5-week program includes a FREE Come and Try Session in week 1. The club is excited to announce that the Come and Try Session will include a guest appearance by Australian and Victorian cricketer, Elyse Villani.
The Victorian Government’s Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open, offering up to $200 per child to help eligible Victorian families cover the costs of organised sport and active recreation activities. Designed to reduce financial barriers and encourage children and young people to get involved, the program supports both those returning to sport and those trying something new.
The Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program is now open, offering funding to help community sport and active recreation organisations grow and thrive. With grants available across five categories, the program supports grassroots clubs to reduce participation barriers, strengthen skills, and build active, connected local communities.
