
The WLIS programs have supported more than 28,000 women and over 800 sporting organisations to elevate women leaders in sport. Funded by the Australian Government and managed by the ASC, the WLIS programs aim to make the necessary systemic change to reduce gender inequality and support more women to advance into leadership roles within the sport ecosystem.

The Country Football and Netball Program is delivered in partnership with the AFL, AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria. It provides funding to Local Government Authorities to help regional football and netball clubs, associations and umpiring organisations upgrade and develop facilities in rural, regional and outer metropolitan locations.
The Australian Sports Commission’s Local Para Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-24 participating in state, national or international championships for athletes with a disability. Successful applicants will receive $750-$1000 towards the cost of attending their championships.
