Special Olympics Gymnastics in Ballarat

Ballarat Gymsports are reinvigorating their Special Olympics Gymnastics Program and will be running a couple of come and try sessions in July and August.

Special Olympics gymnastics program gives people with intellectual disabilities – of all ages and abilities – the opportunity to develop physical fitness, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, confidence and friendships. Gymnastics is a fantastic community based activity for everybody to enjoy.

Note: Special Olympics Australia has also recently broadened the scope of participation opportunities within their range of competitive sports to include participants with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Special Olympics Gymnastics – Come and Try 
When: Sunday 14th July, 10am to 11am
When: Sunday 11th August, 10am to 11am
Where: Ballarat Gymsports, 2B Michaels Drive, Alfredton
Cost: FREE.
